I lead day 1, was in 3rd day two, and all of my spots had boats on them day 3. That's what you get on the 3rd flight out. So I had to punt. Oh well, had fun, and it was a blast to see Larry and Western take it all!!
It's been YEARS since Keri and I fished this event, and we had a lot of fun.

So does this mean we have to bow down to Larry and say "We're not worthy" the next time we see him? I don't mind doing that, it actually sounds like fun, because Larry has always been a big part of this club and it's nice to see him win something like this!! Great job Larry !! You beat 150 or so guys which is something I just can't imagine. From looking at the results it looks like everyone did well and helped bring the trophy back to Western Bass Club, Great Job to Everyone !! Sounds like we've got our next general membership meeting topic lined up and I can't wait to hear how all you guys did it.

The trophy he took home was the whole damn thing trophy! He topped everyone 155 or so anglers across 11 clubs! And he helped western take down every club there, for the first timesince 1985! Again gr8 weekend best ive had since i was a kid. Will be going again next year!

Nice! You'll have to describe what the event was that you took the trophy in. I'm not familiar with the Jamboree.

Great time as Western Bass Club with 13 anglers were able to bring the trophy back as Washington State Bass Federation Jamboree Champions after a 30 year hiatus. I will go down and get the final numbers after this thunderstorm eases up.

Larry deserves a great deal of praise. 3hr day monday 15lbs! He not only won!! But i will let him tell the rest. Lets just say ask the 10 other clubs, 77 boats, 135 participants how it went. Always humble but awesome job larry!

I called this morning. The club has spots one through four. No need to call and reserve one. They said just show up and figure it out amongst ourselves. I'm good with a potluck it whatever you guys want to do. I was going to smoke some ribs Saturday night.

I will be there. With my girlfriend and her daughter. There is still a kids fishing contest correct? I will be staying in the yurt so i can cook up some food for a potluck

So... Right now Myself, the Owens Family and the Brad Johnson Family are going... Anyone else? Want to do a Potluck 1-2 days this weekend?
For those who are new... The Washington Bass Federation have a three day tournament on Memorial Day weekend with activities as a casting contest... Continental breakfasts every morning... A burger feed Sunday night with a fishing speaker and giant raffle and the tournament is just usually $20.00!!! Call coulee playland and see if they still have spots avail!!
