Well I ended up going to Lake Billy Chinook manily because it was on the way to Smith Rock State Park where I took some amazing photographs. Anyway, don't bother with the lake. Caught the same 8 inch smallmouth everywhere I went on the lake. The biologist reports I read on the web are right. The lake can't support the growth of larger smallmouth.

Yes I have, but it was 25 years ago and I don't remember anything remarkable about it Pat.  I don't even remember exactly how to get there Embarrassed.  It's a halfhiemer sort of thing Smiley.

I am fishing Billy Chinook for the first time this Thursday and Friday. Anyone been there? Any thoughts on which arms to concentrate on?
