I thought I had that alarm too but it turned out to be the low oil one. It seemed like there was enuff oil in the tank but when I gassed it it all went to the back of the tank n caused the alarm to go off. Glad it was just as simple as adding oil. Smiley

I was thinking about being a boater, but procrastinated too long.  I took the boat out after work and I think I'm getting an overheat alarm so new goal is getting that fixed before the club T.  Thanks to all who are volunteering, should be a good day of fishing.

First off, I would like to say thank you to you all for taking the time and effort to help out with this years Warrior event!

Thanks to some late additions to our boater list, we should have enough boats to accomodate everyone that we have signed up.

For those of you who will be launching from Russels Landing, we will be meeting at 5 am, at the visitors center, Fort Lewis main gate. Exit 120 off of I5.

I have attached a couple of links to maps of the area to help those out who are not familiar with the area. Open the attachments, and paste the link into your browser and it will bring up the maps of the area.

I have also attached the most current boater info list. If you see information missing that you can help me fill in, please contact me.

We would like to have all of the boaters launched and on the beach by 6 am.

If you will be launching at the state launch and motoring over, please let me know, so we dont wait for you at the visitors center.

We will be serving breakfast at 6 am ish.

Official launch will be at 7 am.

Lunch will be served at 12 pm.

Things we need:

*Tables and chairs

*Coolers with ice

Things you should bring:

*Extra spinning rods

*Sunblock

*Worms

*Extra life jackets

Please call me with any questions or concerns at 206-755-1742.

I'm signed up!!! Should be fun. Ran into a Veteran guy last nite at the lake and BS'd for about an hour with him. (needed someone to take a pic of a FATTY I caught) I told him about the event and he said it sounded awesome because being out on the water for him seemed to let him forgt for a while the stuff he's been thru over seas. He did say it was difficult coming back to society and adjusting. He told me some stories including how he missed the birth of his son, how he worked on Blackhawks, how he might be one place one day , and somewhere else the next; never knowing if that can of coke on the side of the road was gonna blow up as they drove by. Dealing with that kinda stuff every day can build up and get to U, is what he told me. These Veterans have done alot for our country, I think taking one of them fishing for a few hours is the least I can do.  Cool

Hi guys,
We could really use some of the Western Bass Club guys to donate their time for this worthwhile event. We are trying to step it up a bit by getting more soldiers involved, along with some bigger sponsors, breakfast, lunch, and raffle prizes. All of this is free to the soldiers, and requires little of us. Just our boats and a few hours of our time. Please email JohnMark@Evergreenbassclub.com if you would like to help out.
Thanks,
Brian
