           Speaking of cray fish imitations I have been re-thinking how to rig one up. I have seen videos of bass feeding on real cray fish and I have noticed
they seem to favor taking them in tail first with their pinchers pointed away. In fact they will roll them in their mouth until they have them tail first before
swallowing. For this reason it might be good to rig them 180 degrees from the norm so the "tail" is offered first upon approach rather than the pinchers. Any thoughts?

I like to use smelly jelly crawfish scent on my hulla grubs. Every bait company it seems has some type of craw fish imitation. You will also like Berkley Chigger Craws!

I have a secret a scent that comes out of me also but it seems to make people run into hiding not come out

Crayfish Imitations - There is probably no bait better for smallmouth bass than crayfish. Did you know that in water where crayfish are prevalent, smallmouth bass actually secret a scent through their skin that mimics crayfish? This scent will actually make crayfish come out of their hiding spot to protect their territory. When they come out, the smallmouth gobbles them up. Pretty cool, huh? This is why in waters where crayfish are prevalent, crayfish imitations are very effective. I've had a ton of success with Berkley's Power Craws.
