I'm building my own ice chest live well and I have designed a circuit to give me a duty cycle of about 1 minute on and 5 minutes off but I thought I would ask around and see what duty cycle other people are using or should I just have it on at all times? What works best?

Ya, I looked in to buying one and they were running around 40 bucks. I can get the parts to build my own for less than 10 and it would probably be better maid.
