Wow...first I hear that a man drowns in the Green River, now this.  Safety first for sure.

Wow...this is some horrible news Russ- Thanks for reminding us all about safety first before you go out on the water. This accident sure drives the point home with me that when we drive our bass boats going 60-70mph we need to be extra careful...we're just one slight mishap away from disaster.  This can especially be magnified if you get launched out of your boat and immersed in cold water like the conditions we have right now.

Guys,

Just want to make sure all my friends are hooking up there kill switches to their life jackets on every outing.

This last Friday Hardy Buchannan of the Inland Empire Bass Club was killed in a boating accident on Lake Roosevelt and if he would have had his kill switch hooked up he would be alive today.

Our prayers go out to his family and friends.
