It was a special day today, not only for the kids. As some of you may know I was the club secretary of a club known as the Pierce County Bass Anglers. Unfortunantly this club dissolved and it may have a few years, but was finally able to ensure that as stated in the constitution and bylaws of that former club, all currency, if any, is to be donated to the Cast for Kids. The check was for $725.

Just read an email from Jim Owens, from late last week. He is still in need of a few more boaters for this event. It is really fun, has always went smooth for me. One year I got a kid that was a little scared of the boat ride (wasn't from rough water ride so no jokes please LOL ) but we made it work and he still caught some nice perch and small bass. The picture and plaque that you get at the end of the day with your fisherperson is worth it.
Please Email Jim Owens at the above email if you are able to make it. Tell him you are from WBC
Thanks

Thanks Bob. See you there. I need to take my Carbed long crank starting Merc out before then so I don't look too dumb haha. Haven't used it in almost a month, loving the small lake hunting too much.

I have already confirmed with Jim Owens that I will be there with my boat. My wife will be there to assist with set-up and possibly sing the national anthem like last year...
