Prior to the tournament I was pumped to fish here but after two days I left happy but dissapointed in what riffe gave us.  Two years ago my partner and I smoked the fish on kosmos all day.  This year I literally only caught ten fish with my limit fish both days coming late in the day.  Sunday I had no clue even at blast off where I would fish, but after deciding to try kosmos again and getting two bites within an hour I choose to dig in on a small area and work it for everything it had.  The water coming up the few feet saturday I felt really started to bring fish up to the flats and the wind helped as well.  All fish sunday came on a watermelon craw bug that i poured with a 1/4oz football head.

Congrats to everyone who caught fish.

Hey Congratulations to all who participated in this tournament, and good job to those who were able to crack the code and take home the hardware.  I cringed to hear about the boat problems that some of you experienced, always difficult.

Guys that was a tough but fun tourney. I tell you that lake is rough on boats!

Congrats to everyone just making it thru Riffe Lake 2011. It was fun.

Awesome to see the next generation of bass fishermen in the tournament.

Even though I spun my prop, it was a good weekend and fun to fish with you guys again.  Jared, my oldest (10 yr old), weighed his first tournament fish this weekend (3 fish over 2 days) that he caught on his new baitcaster, he was very excited.  That kind of experience is 1st place for me anytime!

Congrats to Mike, Troy and Ron!

Cry Larry (sub-tourament director) was unable to fish due to disabled boat.

Cheesy Phil was scrambling to find a back seat on friday when his hot foot cable broke, he learn he could still use his hand control throttle.

Cry  Andy spun his prop when piece of drift wood got between the prop and lower unit.

Sad Rodney broke his transducer for the councel mounted Lowrance enroute to his hot spot sunday at blast off.

Smiley One angler walked away with 2 trophies.

Lips Sealed Watch for our sub to post the official placing and weights and places. I will post pictures later.

I will be attending with Jeff Iacchei.  I have already reserved a spot at Mossyrock campground but would like to move to Terry's spot if know one else takes it.  Terry...I have already IM'd you about this.

In regards to the Potluck, I can bring Potato salad and another type of salad dish- For the record, I'm not much of a salad guy but it sounds like that's what we may need to fill out the menu.

Anybody that hasn't made a reservation that wants to go I have #46 reserved.  It is too late to cancel with a refund so if someone wants this space, speak up and you can take it.  2 nights total fees were 62.50.  If not it goes to waste. Sad

Okay......change # 34......
I'll be your Tournament Director for Riffe Lake...if you dont make the meeting tommorrow you can sign up at the Campground as I will be in site #41 Friday afternoon/night....
Drivers meeting is at 5AM at the Taidnapaum launch...all boaters coming up the lake from Mossyrock use extreme caution and if poss. stay in a flotilla to ensure you all get there...if not safe wait tilll its lighter and I will get you when it is light enough...hope to get blast off by 5:30 / 5:45...remember this is a river and logs shift and move randomly.
Hope to see ya all at the meeting...although I will be late.
