Sorry I had to bail earlier than I even thought due to a work emergency.  For your info I was having fun dialing the thing back in.  I did get the lines wet long enough to get slammed and miss a nice fish of some species.  The next one I'll be sure and stick around.  Good to be back floating.  Great job Rodney.  I'm riding with you next time.

Heres how the fish in went. Me Christy and her Dad  got a perch. Larry and Jose caught some perch. Mark B got a goose egg, hopefully it will hatch one day. Terry looked like he was havin some fun rallying around in his boat.  Carl Made it out and had to leave a little early, he lost a trout on a crankbait. John Warner caught a nice smally with his friend who I can't remember his name. I'm pretty sure it was somewhere around 3.5lbs. And the star of the show Rodney and his backseater Jim O.  Jim caught a nice 4.2 smally , while the "Master of American Lake" Rodney caught three weighing at 4.2, an unweighed fish that was a little under 4 in Rodneys opinion, and a chunk 5.2lb smally that looked like some type of farm animal with fins. The winds were steady in the 20's and gusting at over 30. The wind brewed up huge swells all day. It was a workout for the trolling motors and bilge pumps today, I could only inch forward in between gusts, it was definitely a little frustrating. Swells were breaking over my bow. I guess I could have had worse problems Cool Water temp was 46-47 (down 1 degree from last week). The water level Was as high as I've seen at American.

I didn't make the fish-in is because I forgot about a b-day party I have to go to tonight and I wanted to keep it local.  I went to Lake WA and it was crap, ran from 520 to I-90 in a hail storm, ouch.

One more reminder!!!  Make sure to bring your vehicle permit if you plan on parking at the launch!  Even if you are a non-boater the permit is required. Dont forget.  Wink

Thanks

Sweet! Hope to see you there Chris! Me and Christy went out again yesterday and she backseated me again Angry. But we both caught a decent smally, mine was 1.3 lbs and hers was 2.0. Had to take a lightning break on shore in the truck though. Ran into John Warner out there,he says he'll probably make the fish in. He caught one around 4.0lbs. We were BS ing on shore for a few on our "lightning break" and his boat floated away Grin. Had to give him a ride out to get it. Grin
