Anyone hear how the tourney went?

Someone on WAFish heard 29 lbs won it but no other details.

Wonder how many boat there were and how many props were lost.

I am NOT planning on fishing this year.  The idea of trying to launch and load on the flats and hearing of some of the problems that have occured at the Scholarship tourney ( at least 2 boats with bent props ) and lack of fishing spots, ( drawn down water ) does not sound like alot of fun.

Wow. Thanks Larry. I hadn't heard that they decided on Banks.

Oh, well. The spots I know are on dry land right now anyway

Anyone going to fish the Frostbite this year? I am curious, especially since it is on Roosevelt instead of Banks.

I am not going. I will be playing in a handball tournament that weekend.

I will miss fishing it though. Fished it every year for the past 6 years and had a great time at each one.

Well the team of Baker/Maderos finished 9th out of 40 teams and Jack/Jesse believe finished 10th out of the 5 teams that fished the Frost Bite. Mark and I junk fished due to his main spot was not producing the bites he had had in the past.

European Spanish... closest thing I could find to "frostbite tournament" (and confirmed with Jose).

Actually means "frozen tournament".

However, the "frostbite tournament" is looking a little balmy as the NWCN weather forecast for Banks on Saturday is for highs in the 60s....
