I was reading on a website about "50 Things we know now that we didn't know this time last year".  Take a look at #33...


33. Scientists have discovered female eggs in the genitalia of a third of all American male smallmouth bass and a fifth of their largemouth cousins. Female bass occasionally show signs of male testes in their reproductive organ.


Hmmm.... adds another dimension to our fishing: when we kiss a fish, is it a he? a she? or a he/she?  I think I'm sticking to a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy when bass fishing.
