It was certainly a fun tournament. The weather was GREAT!!! compared to years past. Saturday I had 2 Smallmouth over 5.5 lbs., that was quite a day. Jon and I thought it was a Carp for a second (the 5.76 lb. smallie). Jon and I had a great time. Caught the big smallies on a DT Hula Grub on a "Crunchtime" Jig. Along with a Yamamoto Senko. Jon schooled me on day two with the "Neko" Rig.

Congratulations to all who did well, especially Nick and Jon!

I was worried because nobody was bragging.  Wink

There were certainly some excellent weights brought in...I believe the second place finishers ended up with all smallmouth weishing 46.15lbs!!!

Henry and Angie just missed the payout of 25th place by a mere ounce or two[/b]....there's had to have finished in 26th place overall...Good job!

Daryl and I finished with just under 21lbs for around 30th place out of 116 boats.  We would have ended up in the top 15 if I didn't lose a 2 1/2 lber on Sunday and Daryl losing a 4+ on Saturday...oh well, it was a lot of fun!  I hope to see more WBC teams next year...always a well run tournament

Congratulations Nick and Jon finishing in the money.

Out of all the WBCer's that fished this the Nick Barr team was the only one that cashed. Henry had a good first day bag with like 20 lbs but couldnt get it done the 2nd day.

While you are slathering up on sun screen I will be getting baked and burnt and reeling in fish. Only messing with you of course. I am hoping that the weather man is right and I can get some sun on my bald shiny dome...... Looking forward to this one big time.

Looking forward to seeing you all over there next week. The weather is looking to be pretty decent and the fishing should be good. I am thinking 45 pounds to win and 35 to get in the top 20. Anybody else got a theory on weights?

Rob Maglio and I will be over there fun fishing.  We didn't get an invite.  We will be going down to tri cities to fish the tri cities river runners tourney that Saturday.  Maybe do some fun fishing on Moses also.  We will see you all down there.
