It was a cold start to the morning, fish where co-operative. Every boat caught fish, nearly all boats landed at least one small mouth bass. 5 boats, 10 anglers, 5 small mouth running from 3.2 lbs up to 4.7 lbs. Two crank bait and 3 on jigs.

Hi All,

I visited the WDFW launch on American Lake today and just wanted to warn everyone to take the access road VERY slowly. There are some giant potholes in there, and a guy with a Ranger today actually bent his axle and cracked a fender hitting a bump too hard. The road could definitely use some maintenance, but it is still totally useable for the fish-in. Just go slowly!
