My 1987 Pro-V was almost indestructible.  I ran the heck out of it.  The engine wasn't running if it wasn't turning 6000-6200.  I ran the cheapest gas and oil I could find and only de-carbed once a year.  It was running like a top when I traded it in with my old Skeeter around 94 and it was pressed into service as a ski-boat/fishing boat.  Last I heard the engine was on the boat in Bellingham and still purring like a kitty. Smiley It certainly had a guardian angel.

Wow that is a good find.  I keep reading those old Pro V's are bulletproof too.

I ran across this one locally and thought of some of you folks who are looking for a boat to start out in without too much investment.
