Well my bilge pump fully pumped out any water remaining from the last months soak fest. Despite the rain we all stayed dry!

You all are right as the weather was NASTY!!! 5 people in two boats braved the cold...steady rain...thunder barrelling in the distance only until 11:30 when we all came off the water to warm ourselves up with Chili Dogs.....only two bites to speak of.....you could fish the bays facing North but most fish were graphed in 40+ feet so you had to get exposed to the elements and with winds at times gusting to 35 MPH it was not worth it to stay out there. Thanks to Rodney, Keith, Jose and Jeff for coming out for the group sufferage!!!

It is certainly a soaker today, of course, Larry will probably use it as a chance to ensure his bilge pump is working correctly

Yesterday the 4th was just too nice out to stay in & work so I asked the boss for the day off I went to Lake WA hoping that the SM bite might be good with the coming storm front. I hit 4 of my spots with 0 fish I fished each spot for 2hrs at the end I would put the cam down & yes the fish were there just hanging out around wood NOT on rock like I thought they might be.Yes these are feeding spots. I had some hits on the grub but just like a 1 thump then nothing I moved to DS & had more hits but they would just grab the bait & move it a little then let go. I saw 9 or more other Bass boats no one I talked too had got any fish other then trout. I will not be able to attend the fish-in but I hope you guys do better. It was like glass on the water & sunny so it might help if there is some wind to move the water too get the fish biting. Lot of the fish were in 27ft some in 20ft at midday around 4pm they moved to 37ft. Hope that helps.

Rodney,
We had already planned on fishing for Perch on Saturday and then I got called to go to Clear Lake.
Decisions, decisions. Load up the freezer with Perch or the potential of sticking a fall largie toad.
