Can't even imagine catching 25+lbs and come in 5th.  Those are some pigs!

This is actually fairly common up on Lake Erie. The guide I fished with this last spring told me at a tournament there you better be bringing in at least 6 five pounders if you plan on being in the top 5. He told me that is pretty much the norm in the spring and fall. The summer months he said upper 20's still to be near the top. But it is impressive anywhere to bring in 30 pounds of smallies anywhere. I know that on my trip, between my guide and I, our best 6 were probably right at about 30. A couple right on either side of 6 and 4 from 4 1/4 to probly 5 1/4 each. The memory of the day is still very fresh in my head.
