Yup it was a good night on Sawyer. Hadn't fished that lake in about 2 years.

Wrong!!!!!!
The top water bite was on from 5:30 to dark. First cast with a top water and two twitches later a 2-1/2 lb smallie is in the boat. 100 yards later I get another 2-3lb smack it 3 times.
We ended up catching about 20 fish both LM and SM.

Mr. Russell Baker and myself are going to Sawyer this evening after work. If anyone wants to come out and play I extend my personal invitation to a small private bet on top dawg for the evening. If anyone is up for a little friendly competition that is. I have not been on Sawyer in a couple of years though it is my old stomping grounds. If anyone has been there lately and has a tip on recent fishing I would love to hear from you! Hope you are all doing great.
