"The winner was just plain lucky, besides he's a butthead!" I would like to believe Mark Brown won because he was using my Tool Caddy So Mark just send 1/2 the check to me

Smitty,
Those are good. I'll add some of those to my portfolio.

To all those who failed to record a catch for this tournament remember these sayings, perhaps one may help one of you find solace and peace.
"It's lonely at the top" "Finishing in 1st only means you have farther to fall when you loose." "There is comfort and anonymity in the number of others right along side of you." "Fame is fleeting." "You know that it can only improve from this point forward." "A trophy is only a piece of wood." "The payout wasn't worth the effort." "I would have done better but someone beat me to my special spot." "My batteries were not charged up." "The weather changed." "There was too much sun." "It was raining." "The barometer dropped suddenly." "The barometer rose suddenly." "The wind picked up from the north." "The wind picked up from the south." "There wasn't any current." "There was too much current." "I didn't have the chance to purchase that special Senko, crankbait, spinnerbait, etc." "The winner was a local." "Someone must have sore-mouthed my fish." "The winner was just plain lucky, besides he's a butthead!"
Those are just a few of the excuses I've used in the past. Given my situation, I'm confident I'll dream up some more as time passes.

Kegan had big fish and iirc it was 7.89 but Phil would have the exact number in case I'm a bit off in my recollection.

I made the list too, but 14 guys weighing fish out of about thirty isn't good. Wish we had an old fashion shoot out with some big weights but I guess theres always next year, or the moses lake tournament.
