I wanted to get out fishing today, but 2 inches of snow and 35 degrees really didnt sound too fun!!!
Too much stuff to do around the house!!

With the snow that is on my boat cover today, no, I don't think I'm sure of anything anymore Can only get better from here right?

Broke,
OOOOOOOOuuuuuuch!!!!!!! I had a 7 year old last year hit me with a jig in the back of the head last year and it hurt for a week.
Glad I worked on the yard yesterday instead of freezing my hands off slinging baits.
Well we should all pray for some sun and heat. Are you sure we are not in Alaska?

I learned yesterday that a 3/4 oz jig slung by a 7 year old, when hit in the mouth with it, hurts like the dickens! Thankfully I was just skin hooked or I'd have been finding one of you guys to remove it.

I learned yesterday that a baitcaster can be used while wearing mittens. Next time I'm going to rewire some heat tape to wrap my rod handle and be able to plug it in the my boat to keep them fingers warm. Or invent a heated rod handle that uses batteries in the handle.

Thats cuz it just gets colder...to 43 degrees to the north.

The south end was 45 degrees according to my electronics, I never made it anywhere else to look for any warmer water.

We had 7 boats with 15 anglers......people showed but fish did not...or we could not feel them through wet cold hands/gloves....Good Job Jared Vance for the only hook-up of the event!!!! Good Hot Coffee and Chili Dogs to warm us up though!!!

well my feet stayed frozen till i took a hot shower when i got home. no bass in any boats.

Well guys, I'm already home and your still on the water The boys were just to cold and wet and I didn't want to force them to have to stay just because I wanted to. They'll get out of the fair weather fisherman mentality someday, I remember doing the same thing to my dad!
Hope ya'll caught some, I know we didn't in our short time out. Jared did hook a fish on a slow rolled spinnerbait but lost it shortly after hook up.
Let me know how you did....

I was hoping to make it, but I will be working, so my spring kickoff will have to wait a little longer.
