Can't make me jealous Larry, I go to Vegas one or twice a year - getting to be old hat. But now that I think about it - I never got sick there!

I've always been told Chuck that cruise ships are just one big Porta-Pottie!!! My brother took a cruise with his wife five years ago and he was never able to leave the room due to a Noro-virus that hit the ship...12 days glued to a toilet is not my idea of fun....I had a great time in Vegas as the Silverton Lodge/Bass Pro Shops took really good care of me...I got to the strip 1-1/2 days but roved all over the place on the free shuttles and by cabs as the rental cars went thru the roof on prices (Week day rates at $80-$90) unless you scheduled in advance...which I did'nt!! Got on a hot streak on the slots on Weds-Thurs. and almost broke even including winning $150.00 waiting for my flight at the airport!!! The Salt Water Aquarium is huge and the biologist on site does three feedings a day where she takes questions from the crowd while under water via an intercom system and does a cool Mermaid "Swimmin with the Fishes". They even have ducks inside the store that have had their wings clipped and they have a ball feeding in the falls where one of the pools have some huge Catfish-Bass-Koi-Carp-Sunfish and even a 100+ pound Sturgeon! Lots of good food..(Buffet was $7.99) drinks were free on the casino floor too!!! Best thing of all....Got to sit by the pool after using the hot tub....in my shorts in 65 degree Sunny Goodness!!! P.S...They have a Rewards Program special going on now...2 days 3 nights at any Bass Pro condo for $99 ad when you arrive you get $75.00 in Bass Pro gift cards!! $24.00 weekday getaway sounds good to me!!! gonna go to Springfield Mo. next time and also go fishing!!

OK, the Ski crashes made me smile! (Sorry about that God!) They're not evil - just stupid!

Sorry, Rev. I would have thought a cruise on Lake Roosevelt would have been just fine.
What is the story on the outboard? Have you had anyone look at it? That seems to be the priority. Wish I knew more about them.....

I hope you are feeling better Rev.........

God led him in building it so of course it was going to work. Noah had other priorities when he was on his boat like taking care of all those animals and a undoubtedly cranky wife (a year long cruise with no shore excursions and the constant smell of manure will do it every time).
If he did have the time to bass fish, how would you pitch a jig from a front deck that high? How big a weight do you need to drop shot the height of Mt. Ararat?

For better or for worse, in sickness and in health, till death due you part. Why was only Noah blessed with a good boat?

Well, Rev, all I can say is that the Lake Washington northern pikeminnow population has sure appreciated your absence.

SO... I'm depressed because my boat's third cylinder is Kaput! I don't have the cash to fix it. But my wife reassured me... "This cruise we've planned for a year with our kids will make you forget all your woes - at least for a week!" Ah yes, I remind myself - sunshine, warmth, and the Mexican Riviera!
I managed half a day on the ship before getting sick, and spent the next 6 days quarantined in a tiny cabin with no windows. (The family of course had a great time.)
That was 11 days ago and I'm still hacking up a lung. And I still have a broken boat.
Someone... just some one... send a little sympathy my way. (MY wife, who is now sick in the other chair - won't give me any!)
