If you take the Duce (bus) out to the BPS, give yourself alot of time.  I thoroughly underestimated the amount of time necessary to get out there and back, (you have to change buses at a depot) and I got into trouble with my wife - we were going to a show and I brought it down to the wire! 

We were there in September and watched the Cirque DeSoulie's "Love" - the tribute to the Beatles - you're old enough to appreciate that, aren't you?  Anyway, lots of good shows in town.  Some with clothes on...

WORD OF ADVICE....STAY AWAY FROM THOSE GIANT MARGARITAS THAT ARE LIKE 50OZ, AND COME IN AN IFLE TOWER SHAPED PIECE OF PLASTIC. IT WAS THE ONLY TIME IVE EVER THROWN UP BEFORE BREAKFAST.

Hey Larry, if you look for the deuce bus shuttle, it is 5 bucks to ride for 24 hrs,so you can use it it you get tired of walking. You can get off and on as many times you like for 5 bucks.

ME!!! Drink!!!

Only one piece of advice, Larry... Go to Blondie's Sports Bar in the Miracle Mile Shops near the Monte Carlo. From 4-6pm $10 all-you-can-drink beer and well drink happy hour. Need I say more? I can definitely see you stumbling down the strip with one of those giant margaritas in a plastic beaker with a long straw. Hilarious!

Oh yeah, don't double down on 12, either.

Have fun, it's a blast.  Remember, from the Pyramid, there is a shuttle (tram) that goes from there to other hotels on the same side of the strip for a few at least when I was there last.  Saves on the walking.  At least it's cooler.  I went in August and my wife almost had heat stroke when we walked the strip.....bad decision.  We took cabs up and down and it was pretty cheap until we found out about the tram.....Enjoy you lucky dog.

Remember, there are no bass in the water where the pirates are........NO BASS....

nice place.....thats where i bought my bow, and tons of fishing gear a few years back. it's well off the strip, but they run shuttles. have fun....

Finally going to two places I've never been....Bass Pro Shops and Las Vegas!!
Took advantage of the Southwest airlines specials they had last week and booked a round trip 4 day'er to Vegas for $217 and they have a week day special at the Silverton Casino Lodge for 49 bucks a night plus perks January 26th-30th so should have plenty of time to shop around...attend a clinic or two and lose some gambling money!!!!!
so dont look for me at the end of January!!!
