I went to Lake WA on Monday when I started the motor my oil light came on DAM low on oil & I forgot to put what I had at home in the boat. Reload the boat went to JOES lot of 2 cycle oils to chose from I have a 1999 Johnston now I remember what the guy said from the PROP Shop talk about using the OE oil. The OE oil was $35 a GAL  Cry Castrol was $20 I was in a rush so I got the $35 OE I did note there was less smoke after running it.  I am sure this has been beat to death but just want to ask here does oil make a diff or can I just use any TCW3 oil
