He was a great story teller... we spent more than one afternoon telling tall tales of "fish once fought and caught".  It's just hard to believe he's gone... This getting older and watching your mentors pass away is not fun.  But the next cold one I drink will be raised to him - may God grant him the eternal privilage of being called "a keeper"!

I just got reminded on another sight....like I have done when they were alive....that it was Roy who passed not Ray...Ray passed 5-6 yrs ago.

I read in the Seattle PI that Ray Whitney passed away a few days ago.  A sad loss for the sportsman of our area nad for Auburn Sports.  So long, Ray, thanks for the tips.
