Hey Mark,
That pattern just changed...
Oh wait. It's back on!
Now it's off again.
Oops. Now the largemouth all swam to Goose Island. CRAP!
Potholes is a little frustrating this time of year. Hope the pattern holds up for you

Here's a report from a different website on Potholes:
I had a two day bass tournament and i only caught one 3.21 pound smallmouth off a rapala shad rap in shad colors. Some people didn't catch a thing but some maxed out both days and the largest caught was a 6.6 pound smallmouth. Most of the people caught their fish between the dam and what people call "bird island." one of the guys caught there limit in the first 30 minutes of the 8 hour tournament at about 6:15am. The 6.6 pounder was caught way way deep into the dunes. Just about everyone who caught fish used crankbaits.
I want to see pics of this 6.6 smallie, what a toad.

Wow, all kidding aside, if it snows I'm just bringing TNT. What a weird year, that's for sure. I say it'll take around 30 to win and smallies will be a factor more than normal.
On a side note, Sarge and I ran into Ken and he showed us a pic of an 8lb SM out of Crab Creek area 3 weeks ago by someone he knows. I don't know about 8, but it was all of 7+, WOW!
Good luck all, Russ still need to know where to pick up our order and what time.

I certainly think the fishing is going to be quite tough, but some team usually catches em....I say 29lbs wins it.
Here's the forecast: ....snow showers...are you kidding me?

I think the usual 28 to 30 lbs to win. I think the more interesting pool is how many guys blank all together? Lets see 125 boats and I say 50 to 60 don't catch a fish in two days. I think this cooler weather is going to make it tough for some. I think a lot of guys fishing and not nearly so many actually catching this year. Carp on "doe balls" don't count as a fish either. Nor does fishing carp with a crossbow. Bring it says the "Technician"

Yup the Flippin Majician and Flippin Technician are ready to rock!!!!!!!!!!!

Thems are some bold predictions. I think if someone gets a good draw and runs to the smallie holes first they are going to spank them. Now on day 2 that will change.

No smack talk here. I think this is going to be a tough Open, but someone always catches a good sack. I say 31.25 lbs. to win this year.
