Smitty,
Well lets put it this way about the door-I was backing the Skeeter up and the Yammi caught the bottom of the door frame and door and bent two sections of it, so it was replaced today.
Saturday was an expensive fishing day No fish at lake Sam and a $1000 new door.
Now I know I need a vacation when I back the Skeeter up without lowering the motor and smash my garage door.

Smitty,
Thank goodness the rod butt bruising was on the rib cage and arms and not somewhere else

Mike, the Alaska 4 hour 20 minute non-stop down and back was the smoothest and one of the most pleasant I've taken in a long long time.
I don't have Senkbo Russ, but I do have light bruising on my rib cage and inner arm from the rod butts. How cool is that?

If I was not so scared to fly I would love to go to El Salto! That's why I keep going to Clear lake. At least I can drive there.
Hey Russ if you go to www.westernbass.com and click on the picture link you will see that there is a lot of Pigs being caught at the Delta now. Good luck.

I just returned from a week of 85* temps winching in "hogs" at El Salto. My largest was a 6'10". Pete Cambell from Pasco caught an 8'13" and a 8'2". My boatmate, Ed Vandeveer from Kennewick, had a 7'11". Al Siebert nailed a couple of 7's. We all caught so many 3,4, and 5lb fish that we got bored with them. Each day was good for 40 or more bass. I still can't believe how hard those Mexican bass fight. A two lb LMB from El Salto will easily put a 4-5 lb Columbia River SMB to shame.

Shasta is low and cold and tons of snow in area. So I need to rethink this. Reports from Clear Lake say water temps 40-50 and bite is tuff right now. Oh well i tried.
Come on Potholes!!

Kirk,
That may be the best idea yet. Shasta is about 5 hours away from my Sunriver house and it fishes well all year and it is only 10 hours from here.
