Your boat issues with the battery have an obvious cause Larry.
The Pro-Craft don't like no steenkin Skeeter towel[smiley=thumbdown.gif] on the seat post.

Larry,
Thank you for braving the snow for the good of the Ambassador program. Those pics are awesome. Sorry you guys didn't catch anything. You deserved to get some fishing action for your trouble.

I couldn't get out of my driveway with the boat hooked on because a guy parked his car directly across the narrow street from my driveway . If it hadn't have had snow on the street it's a struggle to say the least.

Sorry bout the delay Stu... I WAS STILL THAWING OUT!! Had two boats at Sawyer this morning with Angie and Henry Dover in one and Jose and myself in the other and well....it was cold....then it snowed.....then it was clear and .....cold.......and then it snowed again! Angie saw a smally on the camera and myself and Jose got 5-6 bites each with no takers....most bites were in 35 ft. on dropshots mostly. My cranking battery did not want to play so no main engine and 1 hr into the day.....no electronics! Then my winch did not want to work either so some very cold feet on the drive home! Glad it was a short drive!! Beautiful day out there though with the novelty of the snow making for a different look on things. Thanks Angie, Henry and Jose!

Boat is all hooked up and just have to stop and get buns! Bring on the SNOW!!!

we will play it by ear as the weather service calls for SNOW and temps not even breaking 34. Safety first and for those of us who store boats outside safety also means frozen motors and linkages! Will see you all at Breakfast!

I hope everyone has fun at this one. I'll be boarding a plane to Las Vegas at 12:50 pm so I cannot make it

I think I'll try and make it if it isn't raining.

Hey Clubbers!! December 1st. 2007 Lets set sail for the peaceful climes of Lake Sawyer for the December Fish-in. Stu will be taking this one off and he has done a great job this year as your AmBASSador Director and we appreciate his efforts! here are some basic directions and I will post a map. soon.
For those not familiar with how to get there you take hwy 18 eastbound from I-5 or hwy 167 till you get to the s/e 272nd exit at Covington. Make a right to go eastbound thru Covington up to 216th ave s/e. Make a right turn and travel approx 1.3 miles to the first left after the fire station....if you see a spillway at the lake on your left you have gone too far as it is two streets before the spillway and it is signed "Boat Launch" on a standard brown sign. We will meet at Sharis at 13200 S/e Kent Kangley Rd. at 6am and meet at the launch at 7:30AM. There is a $5.00 launch fee and it takes Credit/Debit cards and cash. I will have the Bar-B-Que and Chili plus a 10 X 10 awning ready for the event! This will not be in the newsletter so pass it on and I will heve a flyer at the meeting on Nov-15th. hope to see ya all there!!
