I called her awhile back and asked if Mary and I could come in Thursday as well. She did not say anything about being closed so if you find out about the showers let us know asap as that would change my plans.

Talked to Sandy at Kamei resort and yes....they will be closed but....the owner owns the apple orchard across the street and when he sees you drive in and set up he will come over and take care of the camping....his name is Fred. Do'nt know how the showers will work with this arrangement but will make more calls....I will be going up Thursday the 13th thru the 16th to pre-fish as will some of yous all I assume?

Sweet! I look forward to having the entire site to ourselves. We would have anyway. That is sooo cool. Besides, the lauch at Mill Bay gives us better access to the entire lake.

Jim said at the meeting tonight that the Kamei campground will be open only for us that weekend. No need to try to make a reservation. He said we will be able to show up and camp there.

I called the campground we stayed at for the last two years and they said that I couldn't make a reservation because they are closed after Labor Day.
