This is what I love about camping/fishing this time of year.  You literally OWN the campground and lake!!  Nobody is around, yet the fishing and weather is still good. Cant' get that any other time of the year.  Love it!

Okay folks....here it is.....after one screw-up by myself ...reserving the wrong week.....a bunch of us would like to go to Banks the week after the Chelan tourney...say an "Ode to Summer" trip.........Hal has the beach sites.....#79-85 for the Sunday the 23rd thru the 30th....if you can make a few or all the days it is okay......dont have a boat...okay I will have room and maybe some more will too.......either way the fishing will be phenominal as always especially with the pre-fall feed bag on and Roosevelt will have the Walleye at the ready!!!! Let me know here...Hal is not taking reservations but rather we will send him a list as it gets closer........dont wait sign up now so if we need more room we can get them!!

Looks like we'll be there the week after the Chelan tournament.  Big EMPTY lake, warm temps, quiet campground, and excellent fishing. Should be fun!

I am working on my schedule to try to work in a few days.  I do want to pre-fish Chelan some, but am interested in the fellowship as well.  We will see.

So....anybody up for a last long trip?? I am thinking of staying at Banks the week after the Chelan Tournament and maybe the week before........how bout it?? some folks might wanna scout hunting areas.....the topwater bite should be kickin!
This has been a regular thing for some members and some great fishing without the crowds!!

It has become sort of a tradition where some of us club members go to Banks for a week in September.
It is planning time again and I wanted to start off the conversation. So....we are at Chelan the weekend of the 22nd 23rd. and Coulee Playland has open reservations after Labor Day the 3rd.
With folks wanting to Pre-fish Chelan we are limited as to which week so how bout the 7th through the 16th?
This is just an idea in planning and if some can make all or just part of the week that is A-OK!
The Top Water action is very hot then but as usual the weather starts it's downturn also....so if you are not going hunting lets plan this thing out and get over there in September!!
