Chris If you just stay on the same highway that you took to get the public launch you come to Hall Road, just after the part where the road runs along the lake. Just take a right on Hall Road and you should be able to find streeters. That canal that we fished last year during the draw tourney runs right along it for a little bit by where we started.

What kind of trailer tires are on the bug boat trailer Russ ?? I got a GoodYear Marathon for mine for $85, good guy price.
Where is Streeters by the way? Is it off exit 49?

Maybe WBC should have a coarse on how to back a trailer up correctly.

Yep Brian and Larry are right. Just stay in the middle of the ramp because its just the metal sides that are chewing up the tires. Its not anything that hasn't been there before and it'll get you on both sides. My friend tried to pop my tire on thursday night until I started screaming at him. JUST STAY IN THE MIDDLE!

I talked to Jose, who was with Brian on Saturday when they popped a tire. He said that the thing that is causing the problem on both sides of the ramp is that there are braces that hold the cement ramp pieces together that have sharp nuts and bolts that stick up right on the edge of the ramp. He said that he and Brian looked carefully and there is no garbage or anything planted there by someone, just those bolts with sharp edges.

which side of the launch is this tire-eater on?
Posted by: basspro - Ex Member Posted on: 03/18/07 at 23:23:19
Oh No maybe I should have put in BOLD TYPE not to launch off side. My trailer tire cost me $130 big ins I didn't want to spend. Hope your tires were less. Russ

Yes I will admit it Larry. Everyone remember, unstrap BOTH transom straps If you don't when the boat gets backed in the water, it will float the trailer off to one side, resulting in a flat tire. DOOOOHHH !
Most importantly, do not get in a rush at the ramp.

Thats what we will do Stu for the 24th since they do the awards and raffle there....but if we all help launch at the draw tourney we should be fine as long as folks take all there straps off their boats..."Right Chris!" luv ya man!
