Typical state knee jerk reaction.  If I remember correctly, the state did a study some time ago and it was determined that there was a very high predator to prey ratio in Sprague.  ( IE too many walleye and largemouth to prey ).  With Walleye being really high in population.  So instead of opening walleye season to balance it out, the State has the kill it all mentallity.  Great.  Can we say smallies in Washington and Sammamish are next.  Being these are "Salmon" habitat.  Just the kind of thinking that will ruin other lakes in the other.  Please let your elected representatives know and also email the Fish and Wildlife Dept.
