Now that's funny!, I don't care who you are!! Connie had the idea of Western Bass awarding a golden banana award at the end of the year for the lowest weight of the person who fished all the points tourneys.

Gotfive.
I think you need to watch this. This song was going through my head during the whole despicable act...

Potholes Club tourney - May 1994 first time ever in a tourney, first time ever in my own boat. Fished three huts the whole weekend and won with 27+ pounds. Next year, same time, same pond, boated ONE fish the entire week-end and my career has been a model of inconsistency ever since. Hey, I work very hard at those skills. I would hate to start winning every event. People would start not showing up and not liking me too much. Some might even stoop to hiding banana's in my boat. I can't imagine anybody ever doing such a low, dispicable act, but I have heard that desperation is a funny emotion. I hope that never happens to me.

TD update!!!!
Marc good to see your post on the site... Hope to see you soon.
It was a good time had by all. Water temp in upper 50's low 60's. Sunny skies with a light wind. Winning weight was Brian Olsen a new member with 25lb's. Not too bad for a 29'th BIRTHDAY!!!! Second place was Brian Walker with 24 lbs and Third place was myself with 23lbs. Fourth place was Ron Hankinson with 22 lbs. These dont include oz's.
Saturday these 4 fishermen were within a pound in reverse order; Ron in first with 14.6.
31 total fisherpeople!!! Wow, way to go for all of you that made it for a great tourney.
By the way SMITTY nice sack
I'll try to get the final standings to Bill to post as soon as I can.

Marc,
I heard 25.5lbs won it with B. Olson winning it, Brian Walker, Jim Ruman and Ron Hankinson rounding out the top 4. Weather looked great with highs in the mid 60's. Wished I could have fished it but was working on replacing the fence, yard work, etc.

Gang, GOOD NEWS! I'm coming after all. A swap in the kids calendar and some rescheduling will allow me to make it. I am coming down on Friday night and will happily bring a non-boater with me if some wants to save the fuel. No problem throwing your gear and tent in the back of the truck but I SLEEP ALONE IN MY TRUCK! Send me a PM if you want to jump aboard. See everyone down there. I will be a boater with an empty seat to help out with the boater/ non boater count. See ya'll Friday night
