if your putting it on a bass boat dual frequency will reduce the effectivness of your unit. a single freq unit will have much better target seperation than a dual freq. plus a single freq is cheaper!

If you are fishing salt water the Dual Frequency is great. I don't think you will need it for freshwater.

Hey Guys,
I see Cabela's has Lowrance Electronics on sale. I am looking at the Lowrance LMS-335c Dual Frequency Sonar/GPS Unit for $449. What do you think? Does anyone have this unit? Is this a good buy?
