Hang in there Mack.  Lake Mead is really hard to fish with lots of wind, so I've read over the years and heard from a couple of friends that live in Vegas.  Good luck and hang in there.

Looks like Lake Mead got churned up by the wind.  Having been on that lake with the wind, it can be brutal.  Not alot of places to run and get out of the wind to fish.  With this time of the year, I suspect that most of the smallies and spots were around main lake points up the Overton arm, wind out of the North and that is a recipe for tough tough fishing.  We were cheering for you Mack.

My wife and I flew down to Las Vegas on Sunday AM for a few days of vacation, and guess who was on our flight? Mr. Mack Randle on his way to fish the FLW event at Lake Mead this week/weekend.
