Brian and Bree.
She caught a trout, not a smallie.

Hi Stu,

I don't know either of their names but Jose does, and he talked with them.  It was a dad and his little girl.  She caught a 1.5 smallie.  I thought it was pretty cool, that little fishergirl skunksed all those old fishermen.

Hey, I really was hoping to make it. But I was temped with Washington and that worked out okay. Sounds like a great turn out! Great start to the year Stu. Keep up the good work!

Looked like a tough day for everyone including myself and my friend Dan who also came up empty.  At least the weather was nice and nice to see some of you guys out there.

Great Job Stu! thanks for the report...the fishing can only get better and for Long Lake it only take 4-5 days of sunny weather to light up that fishery so get ready! Cheesy

The Fish-In at Sammamish was great. The fish-ing was not.

Jose had big fish with a 2.2 smallie caught in 55 feet. He had another smallie in about the same depth, but it was a little smaller than the first one. He also caught a trout.

I might be mistaken, but I didn't hear that anyone else caught fish.

The weather was beautiful. Not sure what the actual temp was, but it was comfortable and sunny on the water and at the lunch potluck it felt like it was in the low 60s.

We had two new members there. Dave, has his own boat and took Jose in his backseat. Jose obviously put him on fish, now we need to get them on Dave's line.

John, who posts on the site as Bassaholic, fished with Chris B.

We all got a chance to meet these guys and we were glad to have them join us.

Thanks to everyone who came out:

If I forgot anyone, please PM me and I'll add you on.

Hopefully we will have a strong turnout at the March 10 Fish-In at Long Lake (Kitsap).

So, how did the fish-in go? Is Jose the only one on fish? Good job Jose. I look forward to the report.

I'll be there.  My boat is already hooked up to the truck.  I'm looking for an experienced partner to school me on these finesse techniques.

I am planning on going. My first time to a fish in. I hope to ride with someone & get some schooling on this lake I have struggled on Sam in the past years.

Yeah I'll be at Denny's bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to go out on the lake for some fun. I'm really looking forward to it actually. It must be that cabin fever thing again. I can't wait!
