Unfortunately, Kirk, we only found the beds with a "hundred fingers"... but they were a dime!

Wah-wah-wah-waaaaaaaaaaaah.

We had an excellent time and ended up staying at a place called the Beach Avenue Bed and Breakfast in Pacific Beach. Very nice owners and a couple of fun places to hang out nearby. I recommend it for a quick weekend getaway.

Even though I am late to this, I hope you found a spot that you can put quarters in for that massage sleep.  You know, the bed with a "thousand" fingers.

DUCK LAKE in a tent in January!  Now that's romantic! (though I've never actually tried it)  I've always wondered if a LM could be caught there in the winter.  You and the woman Enjoy, whatever you do UNK!

B&B is the way to go for this type of thing.  Been to this one: http://www.mistyvalleyinn.com/ not right on the coast, but perfect if you plan on hiking around the rainforest.  They'll even pack a lunch for you.

Other places (I haven't tried these, but found them searching for the above place):

http://www.georgejohnsonhouse.com/

This should be enough to get you started.

Hey Chris...there is the motel we stayed at for the tourney a few years ago.....just out of town but near the beach so you will not miss that Sunami!
Echos of the Sea...1 800-578-ECHO.....
Off season rates should be low if they are open.....

Thanks for the recommendation, Stu. I will keep that one in the memory banks... Unfortunately for this weekend, we have to keep the drive a little shorter - more like three hours. It looks nice, though!

Sarge,

I haven't stayed anywhere good on the WA Coast, but if you are willing to drive to the Oregon Coast, Otter Crest is really nice.  http://www.innatottercrest.com/

Hey all you romantic bastards,

Do you have a good recommendation for a weekend getaway with your significant other? We're looking for a place to relax on the Washington Coast in a couple of weekends, and I'm ready to try a new place.

I'm looking forward to your recommendations and the smartalec replies I obviously left myself open to  Wink

Thanks,
Chris
