I tried and tried to get y'all to go to Chelan, but you wouldn't. I'm not a good salesman, I guess, so I gave up. If you can't go to Banks and Potholes at least once in the schedule, most folks won't show up. Exploring new waters is something I really enjoy, so I go where I want to go, and when I want. I don't feel any need to enter tournaments, and never did. C&R, Steve

Steve,
We have hit Chelan 3 years in a row, why haven't you showed up for an event there? Swift is full of smallies from what I have heard from a client. That entire chain has fish. Russ

Cushman holds both largies and smallies. Definitely a smallie dominate lake though. I would only suggest this lake for a July / August tourney though.

Merwin, Yale and Swift are in a chain. I wouldn't be surprised if all held bass. I suggested scouting out some lakes several years ago, those among them. Also, Lk. Shannon is a good sized lake and Dick McElhiney always said it had a good bass population. I've been told that several large lakes on the penninsula have bass, including Cushman and Ozette.
I tried and tried to get you guys to go to Chelan, and the Columbia at Brewster, but you won't listen. The tournament winners want to go back to where they caught fish before, and won. Some organized scouting plans would go a long way toward increasing the number of lakes used for T's. Less pressure, more fish, simple enough? Steve

Just did some research on the lake Russ. looks like a good place to go. Can't be any worse of a lake for me as Riffe.

Have any of you guys ever fished Swift reservoir around the Woodland/Cougar area? Here it is an awesome smallie lake about the size of Riffe.
