after a year off from the club or tournament fishing for that matter due to school/work i will once again be joining the fray next year. last time i fished the spokane arm the fishing was TOUGH although i know it could kick out some fish and walleye to boot

Rob- I like your choices...I'm game for mixing things up a little bit. I really would like us to get Banks Lake back in the fold somehow. I think having a tournament in October is the best time of year to fish it- The smallies really are gourging themselves then.

April draw- Banks/ Silver Lake May- Chelan/ Sammamish June- Potholes/ Moses Lake July- Tri-Cities/ Roosevelt (Spokane Arm) August- Lower Columbia/ Entiat Sept- Long Lake/ Silver Lake Oct- Banks/Washington
Here are some of my choices. Banks for the team would be great. Everyone would limit. Chelan has been great, why not try May now? Sammamish in May is dynomite too! Potholes in June, still good fishing but mixed it up a bit. Moses Lake would probably be good here too(sorry Kirk). Tri-cities in July, everyone again should catch limits. Higher Roosevelt launch would mix things up. August somewhere on the Columbia should be good with it's cooler water. Look at Chelan 2 years ago. Sept on Long Lake should activate the fish from the dog days of summer. Silver in Sept rocks too, for those that have never fished it. Banks in Oct, team tourney so you know there will be split costs and fish caught. Plus Frostbite right around the corner.
Another idea of mine is to switch the months of the draw/ team/ Jack and Jill. Why not draw to determine what months these will be in? Change it up a bit.

Great pictures of many different areas of the Columbia River. Maybe some destinations next year. There are more if you click on the links on the bottom like the "campsites" one.

to smitty's proposal. i have fished just below the crow butte area at maryhill in september and the fishing was pretty good. no major navigation issues and hard fighting river smallies. weather was a little rough but it's a good fishery. and the campground were we stayed was pretty nice.

Just got unemployed, so I am broke. Can't afford the 5 a gallon in gas or whatever it is nowadays. It's alright, just another trophy I won't take from the club

Smitty, I would not mind crow butte at all. It could be a very fun event. KH

For what its worth, Deirdre has requested that at least half of the tournaments be close to a commercial airport!

I really like what Chris had to say concerning the westside schedule and agree that Potholes in may is hard to beat. So here it goes, April-Silver/Sammamish May-Potholes (2nd weekend)/Washington June-Vantage/lower columbia July-Moses/Potholes August-Alder/Riffe Sept- Riffe/Vanage Oct- Washington/Silver While some of these fisheries are new during the time of year that they are proposed, they are proven to produce good bags of bass for all and exellent bags for the "lucky." As Chris mentoned earlier, this kind of schedule will also make it easier on the wallet. Brian (The Weedwalker)

Rob,
I agree on the team event. Lets see some east side stuff. Lake Wa & Sam get real old. Russ

Silver lake for the draw is getting old to me. A great lake at a great time, but try something new. Potholes in April turns out some fish, as seen in every Open. Banks in April isn't bad either. Why not a draw on one of them?
Lake Washington in the summer may be crowded, but the fishing is good.
The end of the year team event would be nice somewhere on the eastside. Just trying to change things up a bit.
