I made it out on Saturday morning also but was in by 10:30 before most of the nutcases made it out on the water. I say most becasue there were a few people the were running the Mountlake cut pretty fast when I was there even when the UW rowwing teams were passing thru, i hope they took down some registration numbers of those idiots. By the way only manage 4 fish, the biggest was 4.5lbs and the rest were about a pound,   couldn't get any takers on topwater .

I was out saturday during the wake board competition.  Launched in and out no problem.  Russ next time there is 4-5 foot rollers give me a call, I want to see what they look like.  I don't think I've ever seen a 5 foot roller except in the ocean  Wink

I only fish Washington on Sundays in the summer, from about 4am to 10am its really calm out there till about noon. Got 4 nice smallies yesterday.
I also never use the Renton ramp.

That's why I've been sticking to smaller lakes, fishing either real early or real late when they are pulling out.  Sometimes it's histerical watching the carnival down there, unless you're trying to launch or pull out of course.

My sister and family were in town this past week so we took them out for a few hours on lake WA. Fished for Perch sticking just 10-12 due to 4-5 foot rollers. The Lake was the busiest I have seen it. Found out that all the Lake SAM regulars were out on Lake WA as well since Lake Sam ramp was closed due to some private party.

It is the most frustrating day at the ramp I have ever had. Too many "morons", with Ski boats and Jet Ski's that do not have any kind of ethics or care for others what so ever. This one guy who couln't wait in line like everyone else cussed me out in a foreign language I wasn't familiar with. I wish my Procraft had a rocket launcher on it so I could nuke the A''hoe. Speeders under bridges, speeders in no wake zones. When are people going to get a clue or license to drive.

I hate this lake in the summer,
Russ
