Got out to Silver this morning. Absolutely beautiful sunrise.  Worked a large flat with white spinner bait and topwater poppers.   Picked up one dink.  Worked the docks with Wacky rig Senkos and spinnerbaits and picked up four more dinks.  I was surprised to only get one on the wacky rig so I switched the rigging to a Texas-like rig on the Senko - the hook was in the center of the bait.  BLack Senko with large silver fleck.  Worked it as a jerk bait.  Had good success in 90 minutes.  Hooked one largemouth around 5# which got off by the boat.  Hook another that was big, but never saw it.  Interesting though, the large brook or brown trout really took a liking to it.  I probably had 5 fish over 18" follow the bait in an agressive manner, some nailing the tail.  Wish I had some 3" Senkos.  Prob head back later this week.  The trout were anywhere you could find the bass fry.
