Nice fish! Way to go! Maybe that was the 8 lber your looking for. Id think about that rather than a carp. But snagging an 8 lb carp can be fun too!!
Nice pic!

Wasn't sure if there were carp or not in that lake, never seen any in there but the fish I spooked left a huge splash and wake. Lets just hope its a monster bass to keep my of fantasies of catching the beast alive. Here is my boat...

Nice fish! Sounds like fun. What kind of boat do you have?
btw - that HUGE fish you saw was a carp, sorry to say.

I wouldn't mind catching 3 fish all year if they are pigs like that.

Way to go got a bite. That lake is a good one for big fish. Have only fished it once in June of 03 but stuck three over 4 + in it. Russ

Went to Lk Campbell up near Anacortes on friday, manage only one fish (5.2) and one other bite but I did see a couple of 4lbs doing a mating dance in the tulies and also spooked a HUGE fish in the shallows although i did not actually see it. Caught my fish on my new lucky bait, a chatterbait. So far I've only manages three fish this year but all have been on that bait ( 5.5, 5.2, 2.5).Water temp was 60-62F.
