Had a great time fishing this lake for the first time, the wind wasn't to bad at least it didn't rain just a few sprinkels. I manage three fish 2.5 to 3lbs and my partner Alex got four 1 to 3lbs so it was a successful outting.

Even with the wind that kept coming and going, water temp was 61.4 and it was a good day on the lake. We launched at 6:00am"ish" with 4 boat 2 pontoon boats and 13 people. while the bite was tough, there were a lot of fish caught the biggest being a 3.14 by myself followed by a 3.12 that was caught by two different club members, Lee and Jose'

What's the biggest one caught there?
Posted by: weedwalker - Ex Member Posted on: 04/20/06 at 02:58:58
The Fish are in pre-spawn, just starting to pair up. Got out for the last hour and a half yesterday, caught 2, a 2 1/2 and a 1 lber. Water temp. was 58* Should be prime by the fish-in. As far as what baits, french frys, sinkos, brush hogs, spinnerbaits and jigs should be fine.

Brian, what would you recomend to bring for the fish in? Still fishing pre-spawning and spawning fish? Want to make sure I will be ready. José

Larry- yes, the fish-in will be on the 6th. Jose- yes this lake only has largemouth. (besides a few trout ) Glenn- Your spinnerbait will be missed. We look forward to when you and Kerry are able to join us at these events. When is your house expected to be done?

Sorry, won't make to this one either. With us living in Everett, the recent fish-ins, including this one, have been at least 2hrs away from us.
Not asking anyone to change for us, or whining or complaining. Just explaining why you don't see us there. That's all.
Can't wait until we're living down in your neck of the woods so that we can participate more often. The house should be ready in early fall.

Can't wait. I take this lake is all largemouth, right?
