A buddy of mine went out to Meridian last tuesday.  He was one of the new people that showed up at the swap meet meeting.  He caught 3 nice smallies, and a 5 lb Largemouth, saw pics.
Good fish Russ.

Just got back from Lake Meridian where me and Man with A View stuck two nice smallies in less than 3 feet of water. Mine was 3lb 6oz and his was even 3lber.

Wind was blowen pretty good. Missed two other hits. Fish are real shallow and water temps were 47-48 degrees.

Hmm can you say pre-spawn smallies. Both fish were full of eggs and ready to pop.

Russ
