Wait just a minute! I've lived in Washington for almost 20 years now and this is the first I've heard of "a fishing license". How long have we needed one of these? How much are they? You guys have already told me where to get them. Thanks for "enlightening me".

I've been getting mine at GI Joe's for the past few years, and they have me in the computer, so all I have to do is show up and confirm my address and info verbally, pay and I'm done.

Don't forget you can buy them on line by going to the Washington Fish and Game site and then you can print off a temporary license until they send you the new one through the mail. I got pulled over last week on Lake Sammamish and they accepted the temprary with no problem.
