Well we couldn't find an open launch at Riffe, so we went to Mayfield Res. instead. First time on this lake, and what a beauty. Found lots of good spots and didn't have any wind, but the water was really cold 43-44. Me and my buddy fished for smallies, with one bite, and we had some friends trollin for trout out of another boat with no luck either. To add salt to the would we went to the east end of Swofford pond on sunday, and hiked down to Riffe, only to find a beached boat, so we asked what launches were open, and of course the only two launches we didn't try were both open. Look forward to coming back when the water is up, now that we got to get a feel for the lake with all exposed structure due to the water being so low.
