Fished Silver lake today from sunup to 3pm. Managed 18 largemouth (9 Keepers). I caught 7 in the morning on a rattle trap, 7 on jigs, and 3 on senkos. The bigger fish all came on jigs fished methodically around docks and brush. My biggest was a 4.5, which I caught at 11am. My 5 biggest was around 11.5. This was the best I have ever done jig fishing anywere, so I was pretty thrilled with that, and not to mention a toad to boot.  Brown was the color of choice with the jig, and the fish were super shallow 1-3 feet. I spoke with Roger who use to guide there in the morning, and he and another angler fishing together boated 20 fish with 12 keepers as of around 7am ish. I had a bad connection with my trolling motor which really sucked, and made it very tough to fish, but luckily the weather gods coperated.
