Hey Jim, an EFI isn't carberated so why would it be banned? I haven't heard about the new law up there on Whatcom lk. Mark

Ya I read about that Smitty. Hopefully its just because of the drinking water situation and it won't spread to other lakes. I can always take the 9 foot basser out there and fish

Lake Whatcom in Bellingham has recently fallen under the ???CALIFORNIA CLEAN WATER SPELL. Effective 2006, no carborated engines over 15 HP may be operated anywhere on the waters of Lake Whatcom. The way this law is written specificly exempts engines meeting the 2 star or higher air quality rating. That means that E-tec, Optimax, Ficht, and HPDI engines, as well as 4 strokes will be allowed, no matter what the HP. Everyone else with a carborated or EFI engine will be banned. Sorry Powerworm. This is most likely just a precursor of events to come around the state.
