Lake Whatcom in Bellingham has recently fallen under the  ???CALIFORNIA CLEAN WATER SPELL.
Effective 2006, no carborated engines over 15 HP may be operated anywhere on the waters of Lake Whatcom.Shocked
The way this law is written specificly exempts engines meeting the 2 star or higher air quality rating.  That means that E-tec, Optimax, Ficht, and HPDI engines, as well as 4 strokes will be allowed, no matter what the HP.Grin   Everyone else with a carborated or EFI engine will be banned.  Sorry Powerworm. Undecided
This is most likely just a precursor of events to come around the state. Tongue
