You are probably correct, in fact for all the NEW members, there is a hump 300 yards to the north of Goose Island that is currently holding fish. I promised Dave Jarrel that i would not tell, but if you go there and toss swim baits, 6" Rainbow, you should be able to win the event.
That said, I did see good fish ALL OVER the place, enough for me to eat crow about my feelings of BETTER spots. Right now, Potholes is the LM pond of choice in the entire state, for numbers and quality. Come on, there is no PERFECT location or anglers, only PERFECT days!! kh

Yeah you are probably right, but there are better ones..

Daryl is so right. There are no "secret" spots on any of the waters we fish, anymore. Maybe Roosevelt, cause of the sheer size, but Potholes or Banks? No way. It is all about being in the right place at the right time. Perhaps with the increase of electronics, anglers may be able to hone down a productive area, but for all intents and purposes, there are few if any secret holes.

Love your new handle, Daryl. I also "got one bag", but I usually call her "honey" or "sweetcakes" You know, to be more politically correct.

Rob
That favorite spot usually turns into a community spot. So, saving it really doesn't apply.

Maybe this will help.....When you have a 20 lb limit from your "favorite spot," then move and save it for day two..... Or just make sure you have 35 pounds on the day you decide to bring in your one sack...

Ron,
No I wasn't aware of that. Great guess and good job on getting it done. Good Luck at the WBC Potholes open. It should be an absolute blast. Russ

Russ, Sorry to burst your "bubble", but I don't think you were aware of the fact that my guess of 23 lbs for Silver was actually my guess for Sunday only! With that said, WHO WAS CLOSER?!!!!!! Good luck this weekend. See you there!

My uneducated guess, 32lbs 6 oz.

Ron, You had better up that weight, since your last guess was way off, I will give you another chance if you want to erase that weight and add a few lbs to it. RB
