Can't wait until my favorite lake starts producing fish.

Yep, it was a great day to be alive and out on the water. I got a smallie that looked about like the one in my picture here. Yahooooo! Thanks again, Russ!

I too was out on Lake Sawyer after spending all of yesterday re-wiring a fried trailer harness and Sawyer felt like I needed a reward with my first Washington Limit!...Spent the morning with senkos and a buzzbait but when that did not work I lightened the bait by using a Centipede weightless and here they came! Had my limit within an hour and a half in the bay at the resort skipping into the shallows but like Russ...I could not get many big ones to go till around 1:00pm when I went into a bay and found three beds with two largemouth a a smally locked on! The biggest went 4.4 pounds and the smally went 2.2......best five went 11.00 pounds...not bad for how its been lately! Big fish caught on a White Jerry's tube.

Fished Sawyer today with Dipsnort and caught about 5-6. Saw tons of 5-6lbers cruising and lots of smallies in spawn mode. Fish are real spooky, should be a week away before this lake is in its prime. RB
