See if you can locate a copy of Northwest Fly Fishing Fall 2002 issue which has a feature article on the John Day.  The river also has gotten some coverage in Fishing and Hunting News but I don't have any cites handy.

I'm more than willing to fill in the blanks if you have any questions!

Anyone have any info on a John Day guided trip?  Glenn?  I heard you write about it once.
